Abstract
In an earlier publication [1], a numerical method for determining the per-unit-length generalized capacitance matrix for a system of parallel cylindrical conductors with cylindrical dielectric insulations (wires) was given. In the formulation of the method, potential expressions were developed in which reference-potential terms were omitted. In this paper, a proof of the validity of omitting the reference-potential terms is presented.
