Abstract :
A method is presented to establish a multisection network model for study of high-frequency transient behavior of transformer and machine windings. The parameters of the network model are estimated using the maximum-likelihood estimation technique. In order to verify the proposed estimation method, the parameters of a six-section network model are estimated
