            Abstract :
When collocated with in-band transmitters, the performance of a frequency-hopping receiver may be substantially degraded due to unwanted energy received during frequency-changing periods. It is shown that such energy may cause "ringing" that extends well into the dwell time. A simple calculation procedure is provided for estimating the severity of the effect.
