Abstract :
This paper addresses one utility´s efforts to decrease Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) human performance errors by using a systematic approach to review and improve existing I&E procedures. It is felt that this effort will result in a substantial decrease in I&E performance errors along with a corresponding increase in unit reliability. It is also felt that this systematic approach can be used by many other utilities and by many different groups within those utilities.
