Abstract :
Micro-contact Josephson device--a new type of junction using the step difference in structure--was fabricated, and its millimeter-wave responses were investigated. The construction of the device, its fabrication process, and the experimental results are described. Particularly, the forty-first step in the I-V characteristics in one type of the devices was observed under the application of 70 GHz.
