Abstract :
In EMC analysis it is often required to assess the mutual interference between stations without detailed knowledge of the antenna patterns involved. Typically, only the mainbeam gain is available from large-scale spectrum-management data systems. This paper formalizes a simple method for estimating the power pattern of narrow-beam antennas from this admittedly insufficient information. Estimated patterns are compared with measured antenna patterns.
