Announcement - Change in the editorial board

Summary form only given. Professor James A. Cooper, Jr., associate editor, is leaving the editorial board of the IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices. Many thanks are due to him for his three years of dedication as Solid State associate editor. We are most fortunate in having as a replacement Dr. Serge Luryi of AT&T Bell Laboratories, whose biography appears below. I welcome Serge as he assumes his new position on the IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices Editorial board.
