Abstract :
A new method for interpolation using B-spline scaling functions is presented which provides significant advantages compared with previously published approaches using the FFT or DST. Periodisation of the sequence is avoided and constraints on the boundary conditions are relaxed. A simple algorithm is given which yields high accuracy with lower computational complexity than FFT or DST techniques
