  • Abstract
    A burst-mode optical packet receiver based on differential detection with fast clock recovery circuit demonstrates experimental optical packet reception at a data rate of 2.8 Gbit/s with sensitivity of -32 dBm. The receiver has fast clock recovery of 4 ns, and can tolerate 14 dB power fluctuations
