Abstract :
The behavior of nonideal switches under certain boundary conditions imposed by the filtering networks is discussed. The effect of rise and fall time, reverse recovery time, etc., on the modulated switch output was throughly studied. A new method of modeling converter power stages containing nonideal switches has been developed.
