Speech Technical Committee

In a meeting of the IEEE-ASSP Technical Committee in Speech Processing at the United Engineering Center in New York City, USA on 6 June 1979, Dr. B. Beek, Dr. N.R. Dixon, Dr. R.A. Houde, Dr. T.B. Hartin, Dr. L.R. Rabiner and Dr. A.E. Rosenberg, members attending, decided that effective immediately after ICASSP-80, the committee will be constituted of twelve members, including a Chairperson. These twelve members will be representative of universities and research institutes, industrial research and de1elopment organizations, speech processing equipment advanced technology and manufacturing firms, and governmental agencies.
