  • Abstract
    Modern aircraft are obviously complex and sensitive systems containing a large amount of software. In this column, the authors quantify this complexity by illustrating responsibilities and software size growth in terms of the cabin control software of various Airbus passenger airplanes. The Web extra at http://videos.airbus.com/video/iLyROoafza66.html is a video of the Airbus Concept Cabin that illustrates what the future of flight might look like from the passenger´s perspective.
