Abstract
This letter presents three novel approaches, namely peak detection, modified maximum peak-to-leaking ratio detection and channel frequency response (CFR) reconstruction, in order to improve the high resolution TOA estimation technique when using OFDM-based WLAN preamble. Computer simulations show that all the proposed approaches outperform the state-of-the-art in the WINNER A1 LOS channel. Moreover, the proposed approaches demonstrate their advantages in WARP2 board based Wi-Fi testbed.
