Abstract :
A novel, low-profile internal antenna with multiband characteristic and narrow shape is reported which can be easily fabricated and embedded into a laptop computer. Two parasitic branches are designed to obtain wide bandwidths covering the GSM850, GSM900, DCS and PCS frequency bands. Measured parameters including VSWR, radiation patterns, three-dimensional peak gain and average gain are presented to validate the proposed design.
