Abstract
DeaiExplorer uses RFID technology to dynamically derive interconnected social clusters from a publication database. It reveals these social networks on a display, letting colocated conference participants discover interpersonal connections. DeaiExplorer communicates with RFID tags attached to participants´ conference badges and visualizes their mutual connections derived from the DBLP. The system scans RFID tags and uses participants´ names to retrieve records in the DBLP database. Participants can either passively view the displayed networks or actively explore the networks through interactive zooming and scrolling
