Abstract :
An orthogonal-core type DC-AC converter is reported for connecting a DC source such as solar cells to an AC distribution line. The DC-AC converter is constructed with a pair of orthogonal-core and square-wave choppers. Using the DC-AC converter, it is possible easily to control the transferred power from the DC source to an AC distribution line. Good quality in its output power is obtained in the trial DC-AC converter.
