Abstract :
Much is being written about redesigning work to help encourage work/life balance. Companies are beginning to recognize signs of burnout. As a result, they are realizing that unless people can have balance in their lives, their productivity will suffer. Companies need to recognize their culpability and responsibility in this sphere in order to help employees create a healthier lifestyle, which will, in turn, contribute to greater productivity on the job. The benefits, therefore, accrue not only to the individual but also to the company.
