  • Abstract
For the original article see ibid., vol.36, no.11, p.789-91 (1988). The commenters report that their own results for a spurious phase shift with attenuation are repeated by K.W. Lo and T.B. Vu (ibid., vol.36, no.11, p.1540, 1988) and that contrary to what is stated by R.J. Baeten et al. in their reply to Lo and Vu´s comments, the solution is not particularly sensitive to frequency. Lo and Vu reply that although the p-i-n diode configurations look similar, the objectives as well as the methods of optimization are different. In their reply R.J. Baeten et al. also point out differences between their work and that of J.P. Starski and Albinsson
