Benefits in the Cost Determination Phase of Modeling

Researchers have provided an abundance of problem formulations for use in mathematical modeling. A number of problems are encouintered in trying to apply the problem formulations. This work is directed at the last point mentioned above, the determination of costs. Its purpose is to direct attentioin to the benefits derived in the modeling process from using cost substitutes obtained from costable operations policies.
