  • Abstract
    As the deadline for this column approaches, the author is in Japan and has decided to write about spectrum policy in that country for this issue. While for this transnational IEEE publication we have been trying to be country neutral, as one who worked at FCC nearly 25 years there is perhaps a tendency to refer to U.S. spectrum issues a little too much. From time to time in future columns we will feature other countries, and welcome input from readers on issues and countries to address.
