  • Abstract
    In this letter, we present a promising distributed-feedback fiber laser hydrophone with a novel mounting structure. The acoustic pressure sensitivity is enhanced up to 102.77 dB re Hz/Pa and a flattened frequency response is achieved with a fluctuation of less than plusmn1.5 dB within 2.5 kHz. The maximum and minimum detectable acoustic signals are also analyzed to investigate the hydrophone dynamic range.
