Abstract :
Although the use of raster graphics technology has increased considerably during the past few years, in many applications vector devices still produce the highest quality pictures. This issue´s displays on display were designed and generated by Melvin L. Prueitt at the Los Alamos National Laboratory on an Information International FR-80 computer-output-to-microfilm system, which draws vectors on a white phosphor CRT. Color is applied by means of red, green, and blue filters.
