Abstract
Shieh-Lin-Yang-Sun (see ibid., vol.49, p.1464-73, July 2000) proposed two digital multisignature schemes for authenticating delegates in mobile code systems. They claimed that both multisignature schemes can withstand attacks that aim to forge the signature. We present some forgery attacks on the two multisignature schemes, respectively. Our results show that Shieh et al. schemes are insecure against forgery attacks launched inside delegates.
