  • Abstract
    The current noise of GaAs laser diodes in the luminescence mode has been measured at frequencies between 0.47 kHz and 1.5 MHz. A 1/f behavior is found at relatively lower frequencies. In the investigated frequency range, the noise level is considerably higher than 2\\cdot e\\cdot I\\cdot \\Delta f .
