Comment on ´Interpolation using Hartley transform´ (and reply)

In the original article (see ibid, vol.28, no.2, p.209, 1992), Liu et al. proposed a modification to the 1-D interpolation that uses the Hartley transform and extended the algorithm to two dimensions. There are two errors which will affect the values of the mean square errors given in the letter. The authors of the original article refute these suggestions, indicating that the comments are incorrect.
