Abstract
A method for the frequency stabilisation of diode pumped solid-state lasers is suggested. The frequency drift of a monolithic integrated twisted-mode-cavity Nd:YAG laser has been compensated for by light absorption which induces temperature and frequency variations. The resulting frequency jitter was reduced to below 30 kHz, i.e. a relative frequency stability of Delta v/v approximately=10-10 was achieved.
