Abstract :
The guide lines on magnetic shielding in general cases are given. The relationship between leakage fields and electromagnetic properties of ferromagnetic material used in the magnetic shielding is clarified. Along such guide lines, magnetic field analysis is discussed from the viewpoint of minimizing the amount of the shielding material, which is quite important to such as magnetic levitation vehicles in an extreme condition of speed
