  • Abstract
    Coefficients of Taylor series expansion up to the fourth order are reported for three projections of the fringing magnetic field. Computer simulation is used to investigate the problem of accuracy of measuring multipole coefficients of the fringing magnetic field. It is demonstrated that the necessary accuracy of this measurements can be achieved by using the “spatial field” model to approximate the field by increasing the number of measuring points
