Abstract :
We all have a rough idea of what an eco-city is: some perfect unison of nature and technology. Countless proposals of sci-fi utopias have adorned the glossy pages of architect´s portfolios, showing a bold new way of addressing the imbalance of these seemingly opposing forces. There is no single internationally accepted definition of an ´eco-city´, but China believes it has a pretty good suggestion in Tianjin Eco-city.
