Abstract :
A dual band dual-polarized antenna that employs a portion of a circular disc is presented. The circular disc sector is truncated at its corner to obtain a fan-shape. The coaxial probe-fed structure is fabricated on FR4 substrate and has dimensions of 50×50mm2. The antenna resonates in the UMTS (1920-2170MHZ) and WiMAX (3.4-3.7GHz) bands with circular and linear polarizations respectively.
