Abstract :
The paper proposes the performance of a pilot symbol assisted modulation (PSAM) using Gaussian interpolation and Wiener interpolation method. Although QAM is the most spectrally efficient modulation, it is rarely applied in mobile channels because of multipath fading. A PSAM system estimates and compensates fading. The paper shows the performance of the PSAM in the case of using Gaussian interpolation and Wiener interpolation, respectively. Computer simulation results shows that the performance of Wiener is better than that of Gaussian interpolation
