Abstract :
X-ray techniques have been used to study the ferroelectric-to-parametric phase transition in polyvinylidene fluoride trifluoroethylene copolymers. Thermal cycles for copolymers with 20 to 40 mol% trifluoroethylene are presented. Clear evidence of anchoring, memory, and relaxation effects has been shown. These effects could be related to mobile defects present in the copolymer
