Abstract :
Analytic solutions of traveling-wave antennas excited by nonsinusoidal currents are derived in the time-domain by using a simple method. The solutions are explicit closed-form expressions. For the far-field approximation, a solution that is almost the same as H. Harmuth´s (Antennas and Waveguides for Nonsinusoidal Waves, New York: Academic, 1984, p.99-103) is obtained
