Abstract
-An intensity-dependent electrooptic effect of ZnTe is measured in detail. The decrease of r41 by a factor of 50 has been observed at a 50-Hz modulation. Above 100 kHz, r41 does not depend on the intensity. This effect has been applied to an optically controlled light modulator.
