Abstract :
Accurate phase noise measurement of signal source is challenging task. This paper describes the phase noise measurement techniques and associated uncertainty, accuracy, and limitations of cross-correlation PN measurement techniques. This discussion is imperative for low noise signal sources, validated with 100 MHz crystal oscillator circuit.
