Abstract :
This paper introduces a new digital instrument for the measurement of conducted emission in B bandwidth coming from an electrical device. The digital device has been implemented by standard VXI instrumentation, in conformity with CISPR standard rules for this kind of measurement. It has been tested in comparison with the traditional analogic CISPR receiver, both in the laboratory and on-field. The comparison results are satisfactory for the uncertainty level required in electromagnetic compatibility measurement standards.
