Abstract :
Error probability for discriminator detection of PCM/FM is considered for those cases in which the IF bandwidth-bit duration product b0 ¿¿ 1, and the effect of low-pass filtering is included. The analytical results are in good agreement with the available experimental data. The optimum deviation ratio and the effect of premodulation filtering are also considered.
