Abstract
The effects of adding Xe, H2 , and O2 to the CO-He laser discharge are studied mass spectroscopically. Xe greatly reduces CO dissociation. H2 does not react chemically but alters discharge kinetics. O2 has little effect on the CO-Xe-He discharge but reduces CO dissociation in CO-He.
