Abstract :
A transverse, multiple-arc pulsed discharge has produced laser emission in NF3and N2F4mixed with H2, CH4, C2H6, HCl, HBr, and natural gas. P_{10}, P_{21}, P_{32} , and P43HF transitions were observed. The peak powers measured ranged from ∼8.5 to 25 kW with typical pulsewidths of \\sim0.3 \\mu s.
