Abstract :
A closed-form expression is obtained for the autocorrelation function of sequential M-bit, base α digital words formed by serial bits of a single binary PN sequence of length L = 2N − 1. Plots are presented for several values of M and N, showing detailed behavior and limiting curves for the binary case (α= 2).
