Abstract :
The slotted CSMA/CA algorithm in IEEE802.15.4 is introduced, and the problem that the slotted CSMA/CA algorithm overheads are analyzed. An enhanced algorithm that dynamically adjust the data frames size to be transmitted according to the amount of information of the source is proposed based on the original standard, which is the DA-CSMA/CA. Simulation results show that the DA-CSMA/CA algorithm has certain advantage to achieve better network throughput, better network utility and similar medium access delay in higher traffic offered load conditions.
