Abstract :
In order to improve the present conditions that water sources require manual on-site control, decentralized management and Network interruption, this paper presents a LabVIEW-based network complementary monitoring system design. System achieves field device communication through the RS485 bus, using the Modbus protocol, then, realizes the communication between PLC, Power module Power module and the host PC through the serial port server by a wireless local area network or GPRS. Thehost computer is used for monitoring LabVIEW software to achieve network complementary communication. an experiment has validated that the design is a simple, reliable and expansible communication system, and has a good expansibility, which has met the needs of remote monitoring of water sources and improved its management conditions.
