Abstract :
Unconditionally stable envelope scalar wave equation perfectly matched layer algorithm is presented for truncating dispersive finite difference time domain (FDTD) grids. The algorithm is based on the locally one dimensional FDTD formulations and it is suitable for band-limited electromagnetic applications. Two-dimensional numerical examples are included to show the validity of the proposed formulations.
