Abstract :
In this letter, we present an implementation for the previously proposed chiral cascaded circuit (CCC) using lumped capacitors, inductors, and transformers. The design of a 180/0deg four-port coupler with one-unit-cell CCC is then presented. Both simulation and experimental results show that such a coupler with identical load at four ports behaves as an analogue to an isotropic chiral slab residing in a simple isotropic medium. Thus we indirectly verify the chiral characteristic of CCC using experiments.
