Abstract :
This article standardization skullduggery - involves the Universal Mobile Telephone System (UMTS) standard. Broadcom Corp., a manufacturer of semiconductor ICs (chipsets) for communications applications, has sued Qualcomm Inc., another chipset manufacturer and the owner of patents essential to complying with the standard.
