Abstract
A procedure to efficiently obtain fault ratios for all levels in multilevel delayed-staging (D-S) storage hierarchies without recurring to simulation runs for each configuration desired is presented. The procedure is based on the applicability of stack processing techniques to D-S configurations and requires simulation runs for two-level hierarchies only.
