Abstract :
This paper reviews the current status of distribution system reliability evaluation in Canadian utilities as determined by a study conducted for the Canadian Electrical Association [1]. The information was obtained by surveying the Canadian utility industry. Some of the results relating to the indices utilized and the use made of data collected by the responding utilities are conpared with current practice in the United States.
