Abstract :
This study discusses the design and implementation of a mobile handheld, which is applied to context-aware methodology of the location-based services (LBS) and global position system (GPS). During the analysis of the mobile handheld, an effective method was identified for the real-time processing of geographic information acquired by a camera attached to a personal data assistant (PDA) which is a newly developed mobile handheld. This study also discusses an experiment with a size of 320 times 240 pixels image, taken by an iPaq 3660 PDA, which has WinCE5.0 operating system and 512 MB RAM along with StrongARM 206 MHz.
