Abstract
A novel decision rule based on ordered-nearest-neighbour is proposed for utterance verification. The underlying neighbourhood distribution associated with each class is exploited as an auxiliary criterion for the plug-in maximum a posteriori (MAP) decision rule. Experimental results show that the verification performance is improved by the proposed algorithm.
