Abstract :
The spectrum of the light emitted at 10 200 Å by an NO laser is photographed with high resolution. The rotational analysis fully confirms the assignment made earlier to the transition F^{2}\\Delta -C^{2}\\Pi (1, 1) between two electronically excited levels of the NO molecule, both of which are configurationally mixed with valence levels.
